Deep olive brown tawny with a distinctive yellow-green edge. Incredibly fresh despite half a century maturing on small wood. Alluring and intensely complex with vanillin and toast. Fresh brewed espresso, burnt toffee and bitter-sweet dark chocolate. Silky and luscious, a wave of viscosity and concentration flooding the palate, leading to an almost syrup-like texture that is checked and balanced by mouth-watering acidity. Concentrated flavours of mocha, toffee, chocolate, fig paste and panforte.
