Description
After resting for over 6 years in charred bourbon and ex-spiced rum casks Broken Heart is proud to release its new Single Malt Whiskey.
This young but complex whiskey has charming character notes of toffee, sticky date pudding and crème brûlée with a soft buttery biscuit finish. On the nose it expresses candied ginger, sun dried raisin, fruit cake and poached pear.
The bourbon barrel has imparted stunning charred oak vanilla notes alongside butterscotch, heather honeycomb and orange marmalade, whilst the rum cask has infused subtle spices of stone fruit, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg giving it a soft, silky and lingering finish.
