In 1868 richard chard estblished his farm near queenstown to supply local goldminers with produce. the farm is now the site of chard farm's winery and home vineyard. mata-au lowburn vineyards. this is our signature pinot noir, made from the best blocks in our estate owned vineyards located at lowburn valley and parkburn on the western shores of lake dunstan. our mata-au (pronounced martar-o) vineyards combine to produce an opulent, perfumed pinot noir - with solky texture and fine tannins. Alcohol: 13.5%
