This hand crafted pinot noir was grown on our estate-owned cowslip valley vineyard in the waihopai valley of marlborough. traditional winemaking techniques including fermentation in open vats with hand plunging, results in a smooth, full-flavoured wine. recommended cellaring 1-5 years taste: layered aromas of sweet plum, dark cherry, delicate spice and oak. the palate is brambly and brooding, dark cherry/cola, savoury, supple and generous with a touch of dried thyme. the winemaking team love it and so will you.
