Created to capture our elegantly robust and floral house style, each batch of The Classic Laddie is unpeated with its own unique recipe. Our signature bottling and the definitive Bruichladdich single malt has been further matured in Oloroso sherry casks from Fernando de Castilla, Jerez, Spain. The sherry cask maturation adds to the depth and complexity of the single malt, enhancing the light and floral style with additional notes of rich dried fruits and toasted almond. Marrying the influence of the sherry cask with unpeated barley, the travel retail exclusive is trickle distilled, un-chill filtered and fully distilled, matured, and bottled on Islay.
